Do you only treat adults?
No. Our practice is not limited to only adult patients. We treat people of all ages who are in need of podiatric care. There are a wide range of problems that are specific to children which we can treat. While the adult thyroid gland is much less sensitive to radiation, it too may be affected, especially during radiation therapy for head and neck cancers. Hypothyroidism, thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer all can occur after radiation exposure in adults.Children arent the only ones who can benefit from orthodontics.

Question: How's an Operetta different from a Broadway musical, then?
Answer: In terms of basic theatrical presentation - cast, chorus, orchestra, sets, lights, costumes and all that stuff - it isn't. Almost all forms of stage musicals - Grand Opera, Operettas, or Broadway - are love stories. Boy meets girl, boy loses girl because of the plot, and so on. Grand Operas end, though, when poor girl or boy (or both) die tragic deaths, boo-hoo. In Operettas, like Broadway Musicals, boy always gets girl back and they live happily ever after.Music, art and drama are an integral part of our curriculum.

How often do students have music, art, and drama at TCA?
Music, art and drama are an integral part of our curriculum. Our students meet twice a week for music and have art experiences twice a week or more. All TCA students are also involved in a yearly theatrical production where they experience all aspects of putting on a play. Students have the opportunity to perform in front of the curtain, work backstage, or help with other aspects of the production like costumes, set work, and marketing.I am a trained dressmaker and I used to work at the Royal Opera House making the theatrical costumes.

What is the distinction between Pagan "magickal" and "religious" practices?
It is impossible to separate out the magickal from the religious, as it all seems a continuum. Magickal practices run the gamut from simple "Kitchen Witch" spells and charms -- mostly concerned with individual healings, blessings, tranformations, and other small workings; through "Circle Work" involving raising anercy for healings, community service, weather working, etc.; to larger group workings to save the planet, -- protecting endangered forests, peoples and species, etc. Some homosexuals enjoy the theatrical parody of women and are known as 'drag queens'. The term is believed to have originated with Elizabethan theatre. In those days women were not allowed to perform, so the parts were played by boys or small, slightly men.

My doll needs new clothes, can you make them?
I am a trained dressmaker and I used to work at the Royal Opera House making the theatrical costumes. Many people have asked me to make clothes for their dolls and I make whatever they ask for, but I must admit that I do prefer making historically correct clothes. I can supply illustrations of Victorian doll's clothes which are historically correct for French and German dolls. All you have to do is ask.Answer: In terms of basic theatrical presentation - cast, chorus, orchestra, sets, lights, costumes and all that stuff - it isn't. How do they make all those great costumes?
Some (very few) cast members are blessed with the ability to sew, or know people (friends, relatives, Mom) who are similarly blessed. Others painfully learn, sometimes getting quite good. Still others get very good at modifying things in their closets or from local thrift stores. If you want to pay someone to make costumes for you, you might want to make inquiries at the local theatrical shop (if there is one in your neighborhood) or ask around at the local Ren Faire. It is impossible to separate out the magickal from the religious, as it all seems a continuum. - 15431
