List building is a term that most network marketers are not familiar with. The truth is they don't even know they need to build an email list to succeed in their businesses. All because of the old prospecting teachings of uplines and companies.

List building is the only and fastest route to growing a large sized downline and becoming very successful in network marketing. It is imperative that any networker should learn to do this in other to build a responsive email list of prospects.

Growing a mailing list is one of the most lucrative business models you can think of. When you grow a mailing list, you are able to send out e-mails to a larger audience who have come to trust you.

Building a mailing list should not be misunderstood with buying of cold leads that are business opportunity related. E-mail list building is the growing and cultivating a list of people who have ask for more information from you after seeing your advert somewhere. They opted in to YOUR offer.

Building an email list is an art. For every aspiring network marketer to succeed, he must learn this art. Once you have understood how to generate a steady targeted lead of prospects in the tens of numbers, then success is not too far from you.

When you accomplish that, the next thing is you have to monetize your list almost immediately. But that should be done after you have grown enough interest in a product, that way your subscribers will see a reason to patronize you.

Any day that passes presents an opportunity to grow your list, and your most important factor in making your list profitable is to carefully cultivate a deep relationship with the people in your e-mail list. You see, your list size doesn't matter sometimes. If you have a strong relationship with your list subscribers, let's say you have 1,000 people, you can easily get 20% - 35% of the people to respond to your offer.

From my experience, I see networkers who have little mailing list get as much as 15% - 30% responses from their small mailing list. Sometimes, these marketers make more money than people who have larger sized email list.
