Starting a 'Financial Vehicle' to Freedom, 3 Points NOT To Miss!

By Hayley Weatherburn

Especially in these times with the economy looking as it is - people are searching for that opportunity that will give them financial freedom and security in the future. There are quite a few money making options out there including property, stocks, business, home based business and many more. Before going ahead with your chosen 'vehicle', keep in mind the following 3 points:

1. Is this something you are interested in, or even better, passionate about? You may have the best money making opportunity in the world - but if you do not enjoy, or worse hate doing the actual daily activities involved, it will never last. So, make sure you research what the actual daily duties will be, ensure that your values and beliefs align with the financial vehicle that you choose and you have a genuine interest in it. If that is all there, great - if not, re-evaluate. My personal example was stocks. I hated studying the market and learning the jargon, however I persevered and ended up wasting time and money when I finally admitted it wasn't for me.

Ask yourself - can you learn to love the money making vehicle you choose? Are you passionate about the way you are going to make money, if so - that is the first point checked off the list!

2. The system needs to be proven. Has the financial vehicle been researched, statistics shown and the proof evident? If it hasn't and you can't find previous examples of success - then be wary. Don't fall for the fluffy possibilities that are only sales tactics, do your research and ask other professionals in the industry whether they have heard of this financial freedom method working. If it's the a stock market system to success - ask a broker have they heard of it, if it's a home based business - research for more information on the Internet.

Research, investigation and evidence will prevent you from wasting any of your precious time, that you could be spending with a successful opportunity! As all good carpenters say - Measure twice, cut once.

3. Will this vehicle help you achieve the long term goals you want to achieve? Before getting too caught up in the potential income you could receive, or the freedom it promises you - don't forget to think about actually what you want. Some people want to have the money and time so they can travel - maybe your opportunity requires you being face to face with people all - year round, so how are you going to achieve your travel goals? Other ideas might have a massive potential in income, and it is home-based, yet you have to sit in your office from 8am until 8pm and still actually can't see the kids.

Write down your vision of your free lifestyle and what it would look like. For you to attain that, think about what kind of financial opportunity will get you there, rather than making your lifestyle fit the opportunity.

With these 3 points, and your future mapped out with lifestyle goals you are on your way to success. All you need to ensure success is some commitment, determination and of course - don't forget to have fun. After all - life is for living, and it's the lifestyle with a smile you want! - 15431
