What age do we have to be to take advantage of your Senior's Day events?
All those that are 60 years young and above on the date of the event are eligible to take advantage of our special Senior's Day activities and savings. Make sure you have a valid ID on you.We value our customers and respect their privacy. We will never ask for personal information that is not necessary to fulfill your order. In the course of receiving your order we obtain personal information, such as your name, address, and credit card information. Do you accept teens that are aggressive/on medication/have attention difficulties (ADD, ADHD)?
Generally, yes. All of our students are screened on an individual basis, but many of our admitted students have had a history of these problems.Studies show that 1 in 4 sexually active teenagers contract an STD. In 2004, it was estimated that in the year 2000 there were: About half of new cases occurred among 15-24 year olds.
Why do teens abuse drugs and alcohol?
Teens use alcohol and other drugs for many reasons. They may do it because they want to fit in with friends or certain groups. They may also take a drug or drink alcohol because they like the way it makes them feel. Or they may believe that it makes them more grown up. Teens tend to try new things and take risks, and they may take drugs or drink alcohol because it seems exciting.The treatment of youth requires a very different approach, skill set and knowledge base than those required to treat adults. Youth have specific needs related to their physical, emotional and social development. It is important to know if the directors and staff members of any adolescent program have a history of successfully treating adolescents.

Although not highly structured, there are many activities for teens including water-skiing, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, pedal boating, sailing, volleyball, use of games room and more.Yes, a student may be expelled from our program. Our programs have experience handling issues such as: low self-esteem, depression, lying, manipulating, physical outbursts, Bipolar Disorder, ADD, ADHD, ODD, Borderline Personality Disorders, Narcissism, alcohol and drug experimentation, substance abuse,truancy, declining grades in school, disrespect, refusing to follow rules, defiance, running away, aggression, anger, stress, poor peer relationships, co-dependency, etc.Teens Conference in an annual two-day March Break conference organized by Ambassadors For Christ In Canada for high school students.The Children's Library will have five times more space, 18 computers, 200% increase in collection size, a flexible storytime area with stepped seating, group study area, a variety of seating sizes, child-sized restrooms and a nursing/changing area.
