Ann Armitage Asks, Can You Expect Something For Nothing?

By Ann Armitage

Looks like everyone wishes for something for nothing. A trifle extra, an inducement, a freebee, whatever you might choose to call them.

It is a sad state of affairs that society has gotten to this point. Everyone wants, even expects something for nothing. We want the "free with purchase", the BOGO, the bonus 60 for the price of 30 and so on. Of course, we are actually paying for what we think we are getting for free without being aware that we are. Did we really need that item? Would we have bought it at all if we did not get something extra? Probably not Clever marketing when you think about it.

The lamentable condition of the economy has sent immense numbers of people to the internet searching for a way to bring in some extra money. A few adopt a realistic approach, meaning that they have the common sense to see that cultivating a business or online programme from their house will call for dedication as well as a monetary and a time commitment. And they do not shy away. They take up the challenge and do not look for "hand outs".

Other folks are taken in by the "something for nothing" temptation. You know the ones

"Join our team for free" Or "Start this business with no money"

Sounds hunky-dory, right? Hey, you will be able to have a home business without expending so much as a dime! False! In just about every example, you will need to open your wallet to upgrade or buy product so you are able to to take in any earnings whatsoever.

Consider this. Would McDonald's or Starbucks hand over one of their dealerships for nada? NOT! Then why would it be any different in internet business?

It can also be easy to fall prey to some internet marketers who offer irresistible incentives in their advertising. Things like "I will advertise for you", "I will give you 1000's of free leads", "and "I will hold your hand and do all the work for you". The hardest to resist is "I guarantee your success".

Everybody wants the greatest bang for their dollar. I imagine that it is human nature. But if someone you do not recognize (and in all probability shouldn't believe) begins extending you the moon think twice.

This is particularly important in terms of cash gifting. Cash gifting has become the most popular formula for getting cash both online and offline. Bank closedowns, people being cleaned of their nest egg and the disgraceful state of the economy have caused cold hard cash in hand to be very magnetic to an ever increasing list of people. Gifting activities like Abundant Living and Epic Wealth which are extremely low-cost have ranks that are growing in leaps and bounds.

A word of caution for those considering a gifting program it is very important to be aware that offering an incentive of any kind is completely illegal. If you come across such an offer, run in the other direction. Not from the company necessarily but definitely from the individual. These folks are eventually caught and expelled from the program.

You know what 'they' say...

"If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

Do your homeworkresearch any and all programs you may consider joining
