Is your Chiropractic Website Marketing a Joke?

By Matthew Loop DC

If you currently have a chiropractic website and it's not producing new patients or sales from information products that you have, you are not alone. In fact 90% of chiropractors that have websites, don't know the first thing about driving massive amounts of visitors (traffic) to them to get new patients. Typically they are promised by their webmaster that after the site is created, the flood-gates will open and they will begin to get noticed by people in the community.

These webmasters are making a killing on you, and they're trying to suck as many other chiropractors in as they can. No matter how wonderfully designed and professional your website looks, you can't magically attract people to it just by the fact of its very existence. As the website continues to cost you more money, you need a marketing strategy that will draw people there, and it should cost you nothing.

It's crucial that you understand internet marketing if you're a chiropractor looking to acquire new patients and other forms of income. If you don't have the slightest understanding or interest in internet marketing, there's no doubt that your practice will suffer like all the rest. With all the different forms of marketing online, including Pay-Per-Click, Banner Ads, email marketing, and social media marketing, the question becomes: Where do you start?

Understand this, unlike many have told you, paid marketing and advertising is quickly becoming a dying breed. This is because more and more business owners are waking up to the massive potential of social media which has been blanketing the news lately. Putting together a strategic marketing campaign on social media sites like Myspace, YouTube, Facebook, Digg, LinkedIn and many others can explode your business and website traffic literally overnight. The best part about it is that these networks are 100% free!

Know that you can't do this alone! When you dive into the new world of social media marketing, the potential for error is great. You need someone by your side that has experience and can guide you exactly where you need to be. Don't waste your time trying to reinvent the wheel, when you can have someone show you the tricks to milking Web 2.0 and branding yourself successfully from the beginning.

Using video on YouTube to market yourself and your chiropractic practice is one of the initial powerhouse methods of marketing. When you target the right demographic in your community, you can see many new patients every month passing through your doors, while creating multiple streams of income from other locations online.

After only a few short months, some of my videos were seen by literally thousands of people. If this were a Pay-Per-Click engine, can you even imagine how much that would have cost? That's a huge amount of money! You can get some phenomenal indexing for your video on Google if you know the tricks of the trade. Soon you'll find yourself at the top of the search engine, for a price that's cheaper than you ever imagined.

Webmasters want you to believe that your website is a self-contained success remedy, but it just isn't true. That fancy website of yours can be a money pit if you don't have the expertise to guide people to it. Social media marketing and Web 2.0 have the power to drive thousands of people to your site to learn about your chiropractic practice. And all of this can happen with minimal effort, even as you sleep! - 15431
