I was playing back the messages on my answering machine, when I come across one that went like this. "Are you struggling through this ressesion with no where to turn to make money? Many people are losing their jobs, and we can help by putting you in your own home based business, and you won't have to worry about doing a thing, we do it all for you. And the best thing, you can make thousands in a few days".
Then of course this person leaves their number for you to call back, or website to visit. In the past week or so I have recieved 3 of those messages. These people are looking for opportunity seekers, and I loath opportunity seekers because their looking for a magic money making wand not a business.
This has been going on for a few years, and is giving the home business industry big problems. Networking is not promising someone a business that will turn great profit, and they won't have to do nothing in return. People pushing these so called opportunities are catering to weakness and only selling hope to people in hard times. Those who join always fail.
From a marketing standpoint this might look like a great idea and make sense. But when it comes to networking, and building a strong business, it's better to learn how to become a leader. Not cater to a weakness that will bring failure. Anyone getting involved in a business this way are purchasing hope and that is lethal.
Let's be honest, having your own home business will not determine your success, and having someone else supposedly do all the promoting is nothing more than thinking that something outside of yourself will create success in your life. That is pure ignorance, something does not empower you only you do.
The only way anyone will survive in a network business is, if they become a skilled business owner. And the only way this will happen is by educating yourself, and learning the application of correct strategies and tactics. Not by looking outside of yourself for something magical that isn't there.
It isn't hard to make money in a home business if done the right way. If you spend a little time and learn the things you need to set in motion, you'll be on your way to becoming a successful networker. No selling or twisting anyone's arm.
