Starting an eBay account only takes a few moments, a few moments of your life that may enable you at some point to raise your lifestyle because of your choice to start an eBay business. Most eBayer's start their eBay business with items they find around the home, kid's closets, or from the garage. But, at some point you need more items to sell, now what do we do?
Now, you have reached the crossroads of your eBay journey.
Scenario 1: Do you drive around all weekend (wasting gasoline and time) looking for garage sales, trying to find some items to sell from your eBay account? Although some eBayers do find some great bargains to capitalize on eBay, this is not the method I would recommend to start off with. Do you check the search engines, take Google for example. If you search "Wholesalers", you will come up with over 22 million sites claiming "Wholesale" status (here is a tip, the majority are not wholesalers). You take a stab, and sign up with someone calling themselves a wholesaler. Now you notice that you are purchasing items from your wholesaler and finding it listed cheaper on eBay, how is that possible?
The reason is that many proclaimed "Wholesalers" show many products for sale, but they are not the true "Wholesaler". They are a retailer, that set up a nice website, and sell to you at a small discount, but they are not the true "Wholesale" Source.
Scenario 2: What if you were to work with a "Real" Wholesaler, offering products at the proper price levels giving you maximum profits with each sale. Even finding sources that will dropship products for you. Do you really want to tie up thousands of dollars in product?
Keeping an inventory of product is not the path to take when starting out. Dropshipping is ideal. With dropship, you list the product (not purchased yet), sell the product, notify the dropshipper, they will ship out the product from their location directly to your customer, your job is to count the profit.
In the two above scenarios, the former will say that you cannot succeed on eBay, it is just a myth. The latter sees the magic and power of dealing with "True" Wholesalers and Drop Shippers and goes on to Powerseller success. eBay is powerful and exciting.
There is not another business like eBay that allows anybody to succeed starting off with a zero budget. Continue to learn, read my other articles, continue to soak up information and I am confident that you will be a fellow Powerseller in no time flat. - 15431
